Malin Kundang      Once upon a time, there lived a fishing family on the coast of the Sumatra region. The family consists of father, mother and a son who is named Malin Kundang. Due to the poor financial condition of the family, the father decided to make a living in a foreign country by wading through the vast ocean.      So the Malin and his mother stayed in their hut. A week, two weeks, a month, two months and even 1 year longer, Malin's father did not return to his hometown. So that his mother had to replace Malin's father to earn a living. Malin is considered a smart kid but a bit mischievous. He often chased chickens and hit them with a broom.
