THE LEGEND OF JAMBI Once upon a time on the island of Sumatra, there was the Kingdom of Titian Sijenjang. The land is very fertile overgrown with various kinds of plants. The people live in prosperity. This kingdom was ruled by the wise King Syaiful Shah. His Majesty Syaiful Syah had a diligent gardener named Lapuk. Weathered likes to plant jambe trees, also known as areca nut trees. This tree is like a coconut tree. The stems are small. Lots of fruit. It's rotten to plant this tree a lot. His Majesty also has a beautiful daughter. Her name is Princess Pinang Setaman. One day the Kingdom of Titian Sijenjang came by a messenger. His Majesty greeted him warmly, "You seem tired. Have you come a long way? Who are you?" asked His Majesty. "Your Majesty, I have come from far away. My name is Din Kasman. I have brought a letter from King Badr Amuk of the Kingdom of Lubuk Dalam." NARRATIVE TEXT WITH HAPPY ENDING

Malin Kundang ORIENTATION :      Once upon a time, there lived a fishing family on the coast of the Sumatra region. The family consists of father, mother and a son who is named Malin Kundang. Due to the poor financial condition of the family, the father decided to make a living in a foreign country by wading through the vast ocean. MAJOR COMPLICATION :       So the Malin and his mother stayed in their hut. A week, two weeks, a month, two months and even 1 year longer, Malin's father did not return to his hometown. So that his mother had to replace Malin's father to earn a living. Malin is considered a smart kid but a bit mischievous. He often chased chickens and hit them with a broom. One day when Malin was chasing a chicken, he tripped over a rock and hit his right arm with a stone. The wound became a scar on his arm and could not go away. RESOLUTION :      After growing up, Malin Kundang felt sorry for his mother who worked hard to make a living to raise himself.

RAMADHAN IN PANDEMIC       This year's Ramadan is very special and enjoyable for me. I can fast for a whole month. Apart from that, I can also perform tarawih prayers in congregation in the mosque and read the al-quran at home, even though it is not full during the night of Ramadan.      What makes me happy is the success of carrying out a month of fasting. Before entering the fasting month I realized how hard it is to fast. Especially when fasting we as students will study at home during the pandemic. Receiving lessons from the teacher even though it is not like studying outside the fasting month. The teacher said, we learn more about faith and devotion (Imtaq).      With strong will and determination, I started the first day of fasting. Hunger and thirst attack is not playing. VACATION TO BALI      When I was in the third grade of junior high school, my friends and I had a vacation in Bali. We stayed for three days. It was amazing and full of impressive experiences during the vacation.       On the first day in Bali, we visited Kuta Beach. We reached there in the early morning, so we could enjoy an amazing landscape of sunrise. Then, we moved to the hotel and checked-in. We took a break and had some meals before continuing the trip. After prepared ourselves, we went to Tanah Lot. There were many domestic and foreign tourists that spent their holiday in Bali.      The second day, our next destination was Tanjung Benoa Beach.
